about the artist

With their saturated, high-contrast color palettes and dramatic use of light, Danielle’s paintings are often, at first glance, mistaken for photos, but unlike a lens, Danielle’s artful brush strokes and bold color choices capture the Western sky (and sweeping landscape below) with a vivid, true-to-life color, soul, and spirit that simply can’t be replicated.

A celebration of the untouched West—timeless, and much of it the same as it’s been for generations—Danielle’s Western landscapes and wildlife paintings bring to life scenes and images she’s crafted in her mind’s eye, highlighting places both real and imagined across the western U.S.

In addition to being part of the permanent collection of the Wyoming State Museum and private collections across the U.S., Danielle’s work has earned the esteemed “Governor’s Choice” award from the Wyoming Governor’s Capitol Art Exhibition. She is also a member of Cowgirl Artists of America.

Prior to pursuing art full time, Danielle spent 13 years as a graphic designer. Today, she lives in southern Wyoming with her husband and two boys, happily settled on a piece of property with all the sweeping western skies, wildlife, and Wyoming sunsets she could ask for.
