Danielle Kirby is a contemporary landscape artist living in Wyoming. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Wyoming State Museum, as well as private collections across the United States.
I’m charmed by moments of light and dark on the plains of the West. My landscape paintings are places of my imagination, uninhabited and unblemished. They are my attempt to recreate those moments just after a thunderstorm - the moody tension, theatrical colors, dramatic light.
